You’ve Tried AI. Now It’s Time to Put It to Work.

A practical AI workshop for Gold Coast business owners who are ready to move beyond prompts and start building AI into the way their business actually operates.

AI has become part of everyday business surprisingly quickly.

For many small business owners, opening ChatGPT to draft an email, brainstorm some content, summarise information or help work through an idea is already normal.

But there is a significant difference between using AI and actually having AI working within your business.

That difference is where things become interesting.

Instead of asking AI to help with one task at a time, what happens when we start looking at the work we repeat every week?

The enquiries.

The follow-ups.

The proposals.

The inbox.

The meeting notes.

The content.

The reporting.

The administrative jobs that individually might take only ten or twenty minutes, but together consume hours of a business owner’s week.

That is the conversation behind Practical AI. Real Business., a small-group online workshop I’m co-hosting with Christian Ng, founder of Metis AI Advisory, from the Gold Coast this October.

This isn’t an introduction to ChatGPT

The workshop has been designed specifically for business owners who already understand what AI is and have probably already started experimenting with it.

You don’t need another session explaining that AI exists.

And you don’t need two hours of hypothetical examples of what it might eventually be able to do.

We want to tackle the much more useful question:

How can we actually apply this to the way your business operates today?

Christian brings the AI strategy and implementation perspective.

I bring the business, marketing and practical application perspective — including the systems I’ve been implementing inside my own businesses.

And rather than teaching to a room of dozens of people, we’ve deliberately limited the workshop to six business owners

That changes what we’re able to do.

Bring the work that is taking up your time

Participants will work with their own business material rather than simply watching demonstrations.

We’ll look at where time is being lost, identify repetitive tasks that may be suitable for AI support and work through how those processes can become more useful, repeatable workflows.

That could mean looking at processes around sales and proposals.

It could be email management.

Marketing and content.

Reporting and business numbers.

Meeting notes and follow-up.

Client onboarding.

Or simply one of those jobs you do every week and keep thinking:

Surely there is a better way to do this.

The objective isn’t to automate absolutely everything.

It’s to identify where AI can genuinely create capacity and then implement something practical enough that you can continue using it after the workshop.

Each participant is intended to leave with a working, repeatable AI workflow built using their own material and their own account.

The shift for me has been implementation

This is also why I wanted to be part of this workshop.

My interest in AI has never really been about becoming an “AI expert”.

I’m interested in what it can practically change inside a business.

Over the past few months, I’ve been applying it more deliberately to the way I work — from email and proposals through to business modelling, reporting and repetitive processes.

And the biggest shift hasn’t come from learning one brilliant prompt.

It has come from beginning to recognise:

I do this repeatedly. Why am I starting from zero every time?

That’s the thinking I want other business owners to experience during this workshop.

Because once you start looking at your business through that lens, the conversation around AI changes.

It stops being:

What can ChatGPT do?

And starts becoming:

What shouldn’t I still be doing manually?

Practical AI. Real Business.

This is a working session rather than a large seminar.

Thursday 1 October 2026
10:30am–12:30pm
Delivered Online
A$380 per person
Maximum six participants

The session includes two hours of hands-on implementation using your own files, the development of one repeatable AI workflow, supporting resources and follow-up after the workshop.

If you’re already using AI but have the feeling you’re only scratching the surface of what it could actually do inside your business, this workshop has been built for that next step.
